Cool finds.......................HH:thumbsup:

It seems every time I look at your posts you have got at least 1 Silver. Which is near impossible for me to replicate! Good Job on your spots & Hunting...

Thanks ! Near impossible for me also Cru :laughing7:

as Much as I Loved my Sovereign, & at the risk of sounding like a commercial :tongue3:
I have to give serious thought that it's the Explorer tweaking them out.
but yesterday it was also the 6" Excellerator coil.

odd part, I was using my 11" coil & pretty much being skunked & Frustrated.
sat down at 78 cents clad & put my 6" Excellerator on.
took 3 steps & Pulled out the silver dime at about 6" depth :laughing7:
shortly after pulled out the wheat. gave up for the day soon after that.

Ive never pulled a silver out of a place thats been remodeled only the places that remained as old as the structures on them...i hope to change my luck with a minelab 3030 i will let you know in a couple weeks on how that goes...grtz on another silver

K-Town carnival grounds only dates to 1940's,
but area has been traveled through by Indian Ambassadors, Fur traders, etc
since the early 1700's, and possibly 1600's.
and my coin finds here have dated to 1790's so far.
My understanding the 3030 is essentially a waterproof etrac / explorer
with a few additions, so it should sniff out those silvers.
Keep us updated !

& Thanks dusty_T

I use my XP 11" as standard now. However if I had a really trashy area, I would go down to the 9". Having said that you have given me an idea, I will try the 9" today in the hope that it will get down into the stubble better:icon_thumright:

if I had an 8 or 9 inch coil, I'd probably use it more often.

going from 11 to 6 makes me feel like I'm searching with a probe especially when your on the edge of 17 Acres
if you know what I mean :laughing7:.
have to practically swing back & forth over the same spot 10 times, then move forward
half & inch & do it again to be comfortable your not missing everything.
may be lighter but the work increases three fold at least. except in the cases of "Lucky Swings"

it does seem to work though

I know the feeling, I have gone from an 11" Field Hunting to an 4" on the Thames Foreshore & that just seems ridiculous, but without it you may as well go home.
