Found this on the wagon road in the woods. It’s said there is a ghost town in that vicinity. Maybe I found items from it, maybe not . It was still a good tiring day

Interesting find
 

When I find an axehead, I often slip it into my back pocket. Heavy but not too much bother there. The one pictured has a nice appearance with the extended part for the handle. The worn off top of the blade shows it was used a lot for chopping. That's the place where they get dulled more and require sharpening, gradually removing more of the edge.
