Just getting around to posting my finds from last Sunday as I had to go on an emergency road trip. No doubt you've all seen the $5 gold coin my friend found by now.
No gold for me, but a big silver!

The Sterling souvenir spoon is from another ghost town over three hours away from this ghost town. Kinda odd.
The detail on it is very cool.
The purple glass piece is just the bottom of a bottle, but it was too neat to leave behind.
The pocket watch crystal is a first for me. I find pocket watches and pieces regularly, but the crystal is always gone.
The harmonica reed plate has more reeds than any I've found before.

I'll get busy with the electrolysis tank on some of these items and update when I'm done. There's writing on the two fancy clothing pieces but I can't make it out without further cleaning.

If you noticed the frog on the spoon and thought it seemed an odd image for the motif of the spoon, it's because Rhyolite was in the Bullfrog Mining District.

Hoping to get out ghost towning with my buddy Miguel again soon!

That round purple glass looks like an old mason jar lid.

You'll see that soon you'll find a gold coin. But all your findings are great. And so we're going to plan to go to the ghost town I told you about.

Cool finds! :icon_thumleft: Is that spoon modern, or, did they actually make them back when the mine was active?

Not sure, wish I knew. Having trouble finding anything about it.

Thanks Gare! Yeah, lots of ghost towns from mining. Some were pretty big with populations in the several thousands and some were quite small, but not many lasted more than 20-30 years.

Nice deal of goods. Are they both suspender clips?

Thanks.
I have no idea what they are specifically. The one on the left has a patent date of May 2, 1900 and the one on the right has a patent date of June 7, 1881.
