~~ANOTHER BIG COPPER CENT~~

Went out with the jedi again this evening for a couple of hours on a site where an old house was torn down.

I headed to a huge tree on the back side and pulled this 1850 large cent from about 8-9" with the old vaquero.

Oh ,,,There were nails everywhere,, but the trusty old vaquero just busted right thru,,,tesoro's can do that?? hummmmm!!!!

What a shocker,, did not expect that!!! oh well it was my turn ,,I GUESS!!!,,oh ya a pretty cool old button also!!!

They are there but tough to find,, I think that one is about the third or fourth I have ever dug.

I have been hunting with a detector on and off since 1973.

Awesome Large Cent Arthur! I have been detecting for 13 years and have only found two of them. It has a nice clear date, I bet your heart skipped a beat when you pulled that out? Headed out to Hamilton County tomorrow to the same site I got the seated and barber dimes last week. Wish I could find a nice large cent there.

They are hard to find ,,, I think I have found 3-4 maybe !! good luck at hamilton co.
