Hello all, if anyone would be so kind and help me with any info about this button it would be very much appreciated. Sorry the pictures are not great but it’s the smallest button I’ve found. In the centre is a small rose. There is writing on the back but I can’t make it out. The coin next to it is a 5p piece. Many thanks 68374A46-0E5E-4710-9FDB-E022F6C0F543.webpD1D6CFBF-EFE1-4269-B387-9A2D61A66600.webp642B6ADE-D433-4A9C-85EA-999A8D32D48A.webp

I would call that a decorative civilian button from a shirt or vest, circa 1820-1840.

Nice old button recovery! :occasion14:

That’s great thanks for the info!

Can't help on the ID, but it's a nice button.

Great ID and nice relic

Welcome to tnet Tommy

They do come a little smaller, like others stated circa 1830.

Norfolk - The best Detecting County in Britain, you should do very well.
