Yesterday, I worked an early site that contains mostly mid 1700s artifacts. The site has given up two 26th British Regiment buttons, One 1753 piller dollar, a few Georges, 1 Charles, two Spanish pewter coin buttons, and about 75 unmarked buttons. I'm wondering if any of you button guys can ID this 16mm one piece cast pewter button..... Happy digging!!! :hello:

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Nice group of finds. Looking at the pewter, nothing military comes to mind. Probably a civilian pattern. Is that a rosette next to the arrowhead?

Nice bunch of relics, congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Next to the arrowhead is a very heavy 30 mm cast brass button with an iron shank. Above that is half of a beltTudor button.webp26th site buttons.webp plate. Maybe if I find the other half it will have markings on it!!
