Another Christmas newbie from Maryland

Looks like Christmas time brings scads of new members to TreasureNet. Lots of great information from many of you dedicated detectorists. Thank you to those who have spent many hours documenting the wonderful information on this forum.

I'm from Cecil County Maryland and have always been fascinated by civil and revolutionary war history. I stumbled across metal detecting while reading and watch videos on civil war history. While there isn't much local history in respect for battles but love to travel.

Would love to hear from local enthusiasts and mentors.

Here's hoping everyone had a great 2014 and wish everyone a prosperous new year.
