Can someone post a list of all coils that can be used on a Deleon and Cortes?
Even better if possible a list of all coils that can be used on each Tesoro machine.
Am I understanding correctly that it has to do with the frequency of each detector?
I will have the 5.75 and stock 9X8 for my Cortes. I would ultimately like to own all the coils that will work on the Cortes. I will purchase one at a time until I have them all. Thanks for an answer, Shane

Seems that they use the same "guts" I guess the coils are the same, but I dont see them listed. Nor do I see the ones for the GS Plus

Hey parkhunter,
It actually wont be here until wed. I'm tracking it though. I saw one on the bay with 4 days left and only 2 bids and going cheap so far. Check it out, its the only one that's used. I sold my Deleon & BH in just a couple of days there. I find that putting the "buy it now" price works best. This has been quite a ride so far (MDing) & purchasing detectors. I started with a BH lone star. Saved and bought a BH Pioneer 505. Sold some Morgan silver dollars and got the Deleon. Sold Pioneer & Deleon for the Cortes. I think I've upgraded all I'm going to unless I try to invest in a pulse someday. Cheers, Shane

Deleon and Cortez use umax coils

Thanks jharhed. Looks like I have alot of coils to get!!! Might take a while but I will try. Thanks evryone for all the input. Shane

I have a Cortes (love it) and the following coils. 9x8, 5.75 concentric, 3x18, 12x10 concentric, 8 inch brown donut, 8.5 inch wide scan. Air tested them against each other on coins and jewelry. I like the 8 inch brown donut best and the 8.5 inch wide scan for all around detecting. The brown donut and the 9x8 give the same performance. The 3x18 doesn't go deep, maybe 5 inches max, but it's the one I use at tot lots, gets me in and out real fast. The 12x10 goes a hair deeper then the 8 inch coils but is heavier. Dave (Cortes, CZ20, CZ7aPro, Discovery 3300).

Ok ... does this mean that the coils listed under the (Standard-Umax coils) heading will work on my (older) B2-Umax?

Ive been using the stock coil that came with the unit for a long time and would like to try out other coils on this unit.

Thanks

Vince.
