Here we go again. Dug this a while back too but never figured out what type of coin and what was the counter stamp for or from.

OK, looks like a Counterfeit Geo III Halfpenny. The 'I' may have been a 'J' in this period. So maybe JK.
These unofficial counter-stamps can only rarely be attributed to a Makers-Mark of the originator. Sometimes they were silver-smiths, but often just a merchant. Some were a type of advertisement, although some we will never know the reason.
