This week's half dollar box contained two silver coins : 1968D and the attached.

Coin pictured is a 1953 Jose Marti centennial 50 centavos coin.

It's 90% silver with mass 12.5 grams which is identical to a 1964 Kennedy, Franklin, or Walking Liberty half. It has virtually the same diameter as its U.S. counterparts.

My pictures are not very clear, but see link for a better quality photo.
