✅ SOLVED Another CW campsite find....??

Found this at my "honey hole" in Va. It seems to be copper. It was folded up when I dug it so I carefully unfolded it to get the shape. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Looks like part of an old head gasket for a car or truck.

As much as I'd like to not believe it, I think you guys hit it. I found an old '50's Ford thermostat in the same area, so I should have put two and two together. The rolled edge threw me off. BUT, I wonder if the old man who had a garage there knew he was parking over so much history?! Thanks for the ID!!
