Another CW site give up some small items.

The fourth site I visited in the last few days. I suppose I'm doing ok. Finds are getting smaller and smaller size wise.



All kinds of stuff here: Nail, small brass escutcheon, heavy duty kepi buckle, chain links, green feather edge pottery, percussion cap, thimble, which is flattened, misc. brass pieces. Small lead.

You know you're getting old when you forget to put up the best find. Pre CW spur. Made in brass and highly decorated, the other side was melted in a fire.

I worked my rear off for these bits and bobs. That was 4 hours of digging. I got some precious aluminum, yeah, right, and a few pieces of cast iron kettle all broken up. It is getting much harder. I had to fight roots and briars for these items.

I haven't been skunked...ever. (There must be that one time, but I don't remember when.) Of course, I don't waste time on non productive sites.
