Another darn Newbie Question :o)

Hi All
I am just about ready to purchase my first detector. I am like everyone elso as I would like one that will do almost any type of detecting from junk to gold. I am looking at the new Tesoro Vaquero and was wondering if anyone out there has one and how they like it.

I WOULD SUGGEST SPENDING AT LEAST $250- $350 ON A FIRST DETECTOR
SECOND DONT BUY ONE IMMEDIATLY

ONE OF THE GREATEST FEELINGS IS KNOWING THAT YOU CAN AND WILL BE BUYING A METAL DETECTOR!
SO I WOULD RESEARCH AND LOOK AT ALL THE DETECTORS AVAILABLE.
FIND ONE THAT LOOKS FREINDLY AND EASY TO USE.

I am a Whites man. I would recommend contacting the people at KellyCo. Good starter machine would be a Whites M6 or Prism V
