Niiice Barber!

That barber quarter's in great shape. Congrats.

Really nice hunt, the quarter is in great shape. Congrats! Is the oyster shell related to native population or early settlers? In my hunting spot, shells are related to the second generation of british, irish and scottish settlers who were importing them alot.

Believe it or not, that isn't an oyster shell. I can't get my phone to take clear pictures, but that is a lead piece molded by a confederate soldier that says, "beast" and cs all over it.

man that barber is in awesome condition

Gorgeous Barber Quarter!

There's a beauty!

Agreed with the others- that's one of the nicer Barber quarters that I've seen. Congrats!

Thanks guys. Does anyone recognize the round thing with the holes in it?

Schweet diggs

Very nice Barb!

Sorry can't i.d. the round thing w holes in it, bit I could I.d. that sweet barber!!

Great digs!

Your round thing looks like a homemade horse bridle rosette

Thanks guys. Does anyone recognize the round thing with the holes in it?

Wizer, toy. Kids would run a string through both holes, loop the string, put metal object in middle, twist it and pull on both ends. It would twist back and forth making a wizing sound. I have seen others posted before. As long as the object with the two holes is not the lead object?
The other target up top is a drill bit for a hand drill.

Cool finds again, you have a great site!

Very nice finds. The barber is quite a nice find. COngrats.
