Great short time at the park yielded me a 1934 Washington, 1945 War Nickel, a Scouts Neckerchief, Token: US Two Bits Play Money from 1950’s, a gorgeous junk diamond earring ( Scared the bejeezus out of me because that thing is heavy) and the dreaded 1965 green patina Quarter that had my heart beating in more ways than one and plenty of clad. I really really like my Maxx. I kills midtones. ( nickels, jewelry etc) Very pleased. That would have made for a great hunt for me.

Ill take Silver Quarters ANYTIME!
War Nic's too.

I was cleaning off some stuff the other day , grabbed about 5 items out of the keeper pile, & cleaned off a Neckerchief Just like the one you have pictured , I thought it was cool that it had the Red Background behind the Cub.
Good Job.

Congrats on pulling all those keepers Truth. That's the first green clad quarter that I have seen. I have seen them black from a fire but mostly rusty orange, never green.

I know I thought I had a large copper. Lol

If I was a betting man, once I saw that green edge I'd have bet that it was a 2 cent piece. Both my 2 centers came out that color where as my LCs haven't.

Yeah that makes more sense

I’m on a roll so I don’t wanna spot but I’m laying in bed sore as heck. I’m going again a 6:30 in the morning in sick.

Congratualtions on the very productive hunt! :occasion14:

Great score on the pair of silver coins. I always love the various scouting neckerchief retainers. Even play money makes for a cool find. Big bling can get your adrenal glands to discharge in a HURRY!:o Gotta' love this sport!:icon_thumright:
