Another farm hunt..Silver and Large Cent

thursday after work BadJim and I hit another old farm, this place was so trashy I feel EXTREMELY lucky to get these finds, I tried TTF, and no go...way too much surface trash, iron was also intense. One of the trashiest farms I ever hunted. I imagine there is quite a bit there, just so overwhelming amount of trash, it was mind boggling. Got a silver quarter 3 early wheats, and a large copper..holed of course!

Nice finds, I never knew how much junk was burried till I started detecting. By the way, whats up with the hole in the coin as u expected?

Looks like you did OK. Nice LC. Maybe clear some of that iron out and more goodies will show up.

I have hunted trashy old farm houses before and know they can be frustrating.

Great Finds! I love to hunt old farmhouses! And all the ones around me are full of iron and trash. But there is some great stuff in all of that junk too.

Nice finds! as for all the trash you got2dig man and get all the trash out of the way then get to the good stuff.
I was out today and know I pulled 60 or more trash targets but got the goods out to. HH

If it was just iron that would have been GREAT, cuz then TTF would have worked perfect on the etrac, but this yard not only had iron that made the detector null constantly, but it had shallow conductive targets everywhere! Shredded aluminum, pull tabs, etc.....it was worse that any park I have ever hunted.....I was thrilled to pull these few finds out of that mess...lol
