Hello all,
OK prolab69 and I have found the honey hole #3
this place is producing like people just went around and put coins in the ground for fun.
We did again very well at the old school the other day.
Prolab I'm sure will do his own post as to what he found. I found several good coins, the first thing I dug was the victorian buckle thingy, a cool little frog and....
Next I dug my first V nickle a 1911 Sweet, its about time !!!
I found some newer silver a 1949 Quarter($10 key Date) and a 1942 D War nickle some older coppers I can't ID as Indians or wheat's
along with 2, 1936 buffalo nickles one you can see has all four legs. The other is a little hard to see can't tell if it is a 3 legger or not from what I see I think not.
I'm a little scared to try and clean any of the nickles with much more than a dry brush.
I have had bad experiences with old nickles and water.
Here are some pictures,
Keep @ It and HH!!
