Another first, Barber half!

I went to my usual place this morning, and I got a monkey off my back.

A nice signal came through my headphones with a familiar sound that can only mean deep silver.

1903 S Barber half!



I also found another coin, which at first I thought might be gold, but it is play money.

I was wearing gloves, so I could not tell the weight, and it did not have that signature brightness coming out of the ground.



I though it had a reeded edge, so I got excited for a second... I hate that!

Sweet barber half!! I just dug a 1903 barber half myself yesterday, no mint mark on mine. If you feel half as good as me finding mine I know your flying high.
