another first for me

hey all
i did alittle easter detecting and found a 1895 barber quarter in good condition. i also found what i think is a deer slug that hit something and got crushed pretty good. vacation starts sat so i'll be going back to the site and then heading upstate to grand pa's to see if i can add to my previous finds. pics on the way happy hunting to all

Forgot about the slug, Looks like some rifeling there but its kind of big. It's lead I assume? if so I agree on your slug therory.

Nice quarter! I also agree with the slug. Most likely a 12 guage deer slug judging from the size compared to the quarter.
