I guess because I am so new to this activity everyday is a great day. There was torrential rains yesterday so I figured today would be a great day to hit the fields for a couple hours. When I left the house I told my wife I would collect 5 artifacts and then head home...well I got my five in about 20 minutes so I kept walking. I got a real mixed bag this time out.
The first pic are an assortment broken points. Even broken they are still fun to find. The second pic are what I assume are scrapers. They are all knapped but the larger two are broken. The third pic is a new one for me...pottery. I found the smaller piece and snapped it in half not knowing what it was. There is an intricate design on the pottery and it is very frail. The fourth pic are the two complete points I found. One is white quartz and I do not know what the other is...anyone? The last pic is a close up of my favorite find of the day...real intricate detail on this timy point. Thanks for looking.
