I have a number of things from the ceremonial pipe site I can not ID> Here is a lulu from a trash pit on the site. What is it?? A guard for a piece of machinery? Turn of the century? Welded and was once ornate. Have fun. I have no clue. The guy that is the owner of property said what is it a sun dial?

I dont think it is a sundial....I know where you are digging.......how long has this property been in the family? When you were digging in the trash heap, what were the latest date items found.....Just trying to distinguish from modern and set a time frame for this piece.....so if there is nothing in the pile after the 50's ,its probally not a lawn ornament either......but am leaning with art deco period.

Latest Item around the Twentys. China shards. A beautiful doll body that I have to photograph. I would say 1920 at the latest.
A lot of things that are really weird, so to speak. People that own the property have had it since the 1930's. Dont remember anything there. Its really a TREASURE HUNTERS DREAM SITE.

Strange find...looks handmade ??? Could have been some wall decoration someone made in the early 1900's out of scrap metal that they welded together :)

It reminds me of the shield/guard that covers the belt pulley on the old cast iron sewing machine stands.

I think its a seat frame from about a 1920-30s era tractor.

To thin a grade metal. Interesting guess. I still think its a guard for a piece of machinery. Perhaps the guard for a small steam engine flywheel. Refer to pic. See tabs..
