Out for only an hour and stumbled onto this massive coin, a coin from Portugal 1825 40 reis. How did that get into a field in Nova Scotia Canada lol. If only they could talk.

Congrats! I've seen a few of these posted and the big Cartwheel coins. I found one last year that was totally smooth. I wonder if they were used as a penny or had more value in Colonial times?
