Another Man's Treasure, or, Give a Neaderthal a Metal Detector
For training purposes, our subject was thawed, shown how to use a simple detector, then sedated and moved to a large field just outside of a town. What follows is an recap of his adventures:
1. Subjects wakes, he displays confusion and fear. After a bit he picks up detector and immediately gets a hit. Digs up unidentified coin, eats it. Does not fill hole. Continues searching, gets a strong hit, finds eight inch iron rod. He hits himself on head and determines the rod is strong, keeps it. Fills hole, but not in a manner we care to describe, kicks dirt over his deposit.
2. Having eaten several more coins, and forced a silver ring through his nose, our subject has made his way into town. Encounters a pedestrian, gets a hit at pedestrians pocket. Uses eight inch iron rod to incapacitate pedestrian. Takes valuables including clothes which he puts on. Looks rather dashing.
