Another Minelab Question

Hey TreasureNet I’ve been posting a lot lately and once again have another question
Should I upgrade the coil on my X-terra 505
Or
Buy the Minelab Explorer 2 with pro coil
Would the $420 for the Explorer really be a big difference in finding coins and jewelry against and Xterra with a upgraded coil?

Keep in mind explorer 2 is not supported by Minelab, there are no spare parts for it if screen, key pad, motherboard or several other parts go bad.
