Hello people! I have another mystery. I've done a bit of research and have not found anything substantial. This badge looks to be made of two pieces, lead or pewter on the front and possibly brass on the back. The prongs (used to be four total) remind me of the asbestos shingle anchors although anything I have researched that may lead to an answer suggests a badge off a covered wagon or harness. Help me out here! what do you think?

"D. Forrest and Son" is what the front of the badge reads.

that’s pretty crazy. I would love to find a picture of something similar but I haven’t seen anything yet. I’ll leave this post open a little longer but I suspect the information you provided could be the answer. I found it in SJ about 5 mins from Philly!
