✅ SOLVED Another productive hunt......

Went out again today.....trying to get as much hunting in before the snow falls. It was slow going at first until about halfway through the hunt when I found that big point (big for around here anyway). It measures 2 ⁵/¹⁶" long. Beautiful patina on it but it does have that small impact fracture.

Thanks chip! That point is mostly a caramel color with sort of a moss agate like tip.

Thanks newnan! They were spear heads. A person does find some side notched knives from time to time but they are usually in the 3 ½" to 5" range and usually quite a bit thicker....a lot of times asymmetrical. If you find stuff into the Earlier Archaic and Paleo times they usually used flake knives or large oval blades.
