Actually had a brief period of sun today.
Thought it was a pine cone when I first saw it about 30 feet away in the top of a tree. Only 5 or 6 inches tall.
He was not the least bit concerned about me. I actually whistled and yelled to try to get him to look at me. I took the first picture ( The one with the most sky. ) almost straight up when I got out of the pickup, then walked around to where I would have the sun at my back, and a large tree behind him.
