Another question about the Anciets

The Ancients ]have built lots of VERY AMAZING structures. My Questions are what type of tools did they use ? Did they make the tools ? it seems like they had to make them. How did they make them ?
I find this past ancient history totally AMAZING ? WHAT are your thoughts ?

I realize they would drill holes with chisels , Then pound wood in the holes then pour water on the wood. WHen it expanded it would split the stones. BUT WHERE and HOW did they get the tools ?
