Hit the oceanfront this morning and brought along my neighbor who wanted to give it a try for the first time. After giving him a tutorial on using the MXT in the dry sand I left him to do his own thing and I then headed down by the water's edge with my infinium. Targets were few and far between with only 3 coins in 3+ hours. But I found this huge silver ring about 5 minutes before quitting to avoid the skunk. It wasn't gold but I'll take it. Thought I had a nice heavy gold bracelet earlier, but couldn't find any markings so guess its junk. That's OK - just a little more motivation for getting out next time. HH to all.
