Detector(s) used
Garrett GTI 2500 & Pro Pointer / Detech EDS Plus II
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
Last weekend I was back in the old pastures, where after some detections have found the most representative objects, two bronze brooches and surprise, :hello2:my first silver coin during the Roman Empire, a very well preserved silver denarius.
:blob3:
It's about Publia Fulvia Plautilla , was a roman princess , briefly roman empress and the only wife to roman emperor Caracalla.:icon_king:
"Plautillae Augustae" / "Concordiae Eternae"

Enjoy !

Great saves !!
Eternal happiness was not in the cards. Plautilla was eventually banished to the lonely Lipari Islands off Sicily and murdered by her cruel husband portrayed on the reverse. A similar coin was sold this past May for US$200 plus a buyer's premium. Coin probably dates from period AD 198-217.
