Another seated at the same spot

I got my second seated at the same spot as last weekend, not guite as purtty as the last one but sill real nice I also got a 1904 Nickle thats still soaking, That other item I dont know what it is and have it in the what is it section I think I am holding it upside down.

The item with the star looks like those end pieces from a belt. Many of the western style belts had a metal end piece.

Does it have or show any clips or tabs on the backside?

Naw no clasp and kinda wide for a common belt as it is 2 1/4" tip to tip,
