Im now five for five with old silver at my field permission. Scored a really nice 1877 Seated quarter pretty quickly. It has the same stubborn tarnish as my other one but much better detail too. Im glad I scored it quickly cause the rest of the hunt was mostly shotgun headstamps. 15 of them. Did manage to get one toasted 1883 IHP and some cool flat buttons though

I was searching for a target and looked up to be surprised by a guy standing next to me. He leases the property for goose hunting and didnt like me there. I quickly told him i would not be back till goose season ended. Dont want to loose this awesome permission. I went to my old Pomander site to score the really nice 1903 IHP.

Great finds! That Seated quarter is beautiful!

sweet seated, and that indian head is nice too

Awesome finds. I need a seated to show up around here for me someday! [emoji2]

You made a wise choice. A choice made much easier with that beauty coin in your pocket[emoji471]

Awesome seated quarter!, good job saving that place

Six beauties in nine days. I can wait a couple of weeks for the chance at more of this.

I can't believe how good that site has been. If you add my seated from there that's six seated, one barber, abillion IHP's, and like one wheat lol.

And i havent even begun to work real slow with the small coil in the high iron areas or even detect most of the field for that matter

I love to goose hunt too :skullflag:

Nice seated and the Indian head is sharp too. Giving up with an "I'm sorry about that" is well worth keeping a permission. Congrats

Nice finds. Really like those seated. Any ideal what was there, like picnic grove, campmeeting grounds?

That's the kind of find that would have me frothing at the mouth staring into my hands for a few minutes :icon_thumleft::treasurechest:

congrats on those nice keepers. You are in the right era. There's just gotta to be an 1877 IHP in that field. Hope you find it.

Great job on all the great coins you found there!

Lol! Who wants a damn goose when you can find seated! Maybe the goose will leave a golden coin! Congrats
