Another shout-out to Steve's Detector Rods

Last week, I got in my new Equinox and immediately ordered my carbon shaft from Steve. He spent all the time that I needed answering my questions on the phone. Very good customer response not always seen in todays world.

As for the shaft...it is truly a thing of beauty and makes an already great detector even better. The counterweight gives the machine a incredible swing feel. They should come like this from the factory.

Anyway, just wanted express my pleasure with the purchase and appreciation for the customer service. Great job, Steve!

I have a shaft from Steve’s also. Had for a little over a year very nice setup.
Question where did the red black cable and red reinforced clamp on the shaft and coil come from?

I believe the red on the cable is a cable cover -- called "Snake Skinz." Many folks are now using them -- basically to add some color to their machines. I don't sell them, but I'm sure you can find them. The red part that's found on his coil is one of the various versions of "coil ear stiffeners" that are being sold online. Again, I don't sell them, but there are several folks out there who do...

Steve is correct. The cable sleeve is Snake Skinz and the ear stiffener came from EBay.
