Another Strange find.

Found this the other day. I think it is copper, it has a knight on the left side in ful plate armour holding a sword, and round shield on the right there is a caged lion, like maybea circus cage or something. The door to the cage is open and the lion seems to be getting out. There are three flowwers across the top and bottom of the piece. Not sure what it is can anyone help me out?

Looks like a souveniour of sort, they are really popular in Europe. Many are designed to be mounted on a walking cane, the older ones similar to yours were mounted with small nails, thus the holes. You might try hunting the area again, could be more there or could just be a single drop. Cool find and HH, Mike

i agree, the curvature seems to lean towards it going on a cane, or perhaps a bracelet of sorts. How old of an area do you think you are in?

Maybe off a high priced Liquor bottle? I recall one brand that had something like that with 2 chains on it. Cant remember what brand it was though.
I read somewhere that booze was bad for you, so I gave up reading.
