Another Timex Marlin & Wrist Compass
Hit an estate sale Friday at lunch. They had no jewelry in the 200 photos but when I arrived was pleasantly surprised to see a tray of jewelry. In it was a nice 1967 Dot and Bar dial Timex Marlin. It was not running and the second hand was bent. For $10 it was worth the chance since this is a more desirable dial. I serviced it and it came out great and as usual the Marlin movement is running perfectly. They also had a vintage brass wrist compass for $5. It is unmarked but is almost identical to the WWII issued ones made by Waltham. Glad to add it to my collection.
