another unfinished pair of tools

I found this walking after a heavy rain in the fall several yrs ago
this is the bone used for making a pair of awls
the bone is first cut in half
this one was being cut in half when the maker stopped and did not finish for some reason
the first 2 images show the cut marks to split the bone in two
the next three show front, back, and side views with a couple of finished bone awls along side to show what the finished product would have looked like
I thought this might be interesting to some of you
I would appreciate your comments, thanks

I would say for sure deer or antelope leg bone
