another very recent unique button find from a union civil war camp in SC

I found this one in a union civil war camp recently in the lowcountry of South Carolina and I don't recall seeing another one like it dug anywhere on any forum. It's some sort of patriotic button and I was told it could have something to do with Abraham Lincolns relection. Hope you enjoy the pics!

What does the back read?

Killer Button. You don't find them with nearly that much gilt dug.

Let me guess, the back is blank tin?

It's a pretty common button believe it or not.

There are some online in non dug condition selling for 25 bucks.

It's a very pretty button.. I have never dug one.. There is a couple different varieties like it. Another similar has the flag drooping a little farther down . It's patriotic alright...Yankee patriotic

What does the back read? It's a tinback button so its just rusty.Still has remnants of iron shank on it too.

Congrats on your finds!! I just saw this post and thought I would tell you that about 2000 silver and copper coins ago, my very first silver coin was also a 1961-D Rosie that I found at my brother-in-law's house in New Hampshire.
