Back in January I found what I thought was a once in my life time find. A 1932 gold 10 Guilder coin. This morning I went out and found a few junk earrings and a couple coins. Then I came across this signal that reminded me of the gold earring I found the other day. I thought what the heck. What I saw in the scoop was yet another gold coin. A 1911 gold Sovereign! Relatively in the same area as the previous coin. Now I'm wondering how these coins got there. Thanks for looking and good luck out there!

WOW ! THATS ALL I CAN SAY, WOW! :notworthy:

I guess it's twice in a lifetime for you. Congratulations.

AWESOME FIND!!!

Just terrific!!!!! Keep looking there, maybe someone lost a purse :) ! HH

If the dates on the two coins are anywhere close, you could be onto something really nice. Happy Hunting. Papa

Amazing!! What do you think is going on?

Great find as always K-9. Ray

Gotta love that Golden colour ., congrats on an awesome hunt ..cheers Mick

WOW!!!!!! You have to be pumped!

Very nice. I would still love to find a gold coin of any denomination and nationality in any kind of ground - let alone from a beach environment. Still wondering which Dutch islands you frequent. :notworthy: Had nice time and a naice find in Aruba a while back whille I now think I spent way too much unproductive time on the French side during my visit to St Martin/St Marteen a couple years ago.

Hey, if you found two gold coins near to each other, you HAVE to look for more.
Numbers three and four might be just waiting for you.

Assuming you found these two on a beach, I'll bet you will be looking in that same area
every time you are nearby, especially after there has been any significant sand movement
from high tides, storms, etc.

Keep at it! I predict more big finds on the same beach.

What kind of detector and coil were you using? How deep were the coins?

Nice stuff as always.
Those are the kind of finds that
keep you motivated for sure.

That's a beautiful coin...did you find it in the water?...who carries a gold coin in their pocket?...maybe their good luck charm. :dontknow:...congrats.

Another stunning find, tnt-K9!

You better get back out to that same area soon.

Lorraine
