Tuesday, October 2, I drove to Lincoln, NE and had 1 hour to detect prior to sunset. :'( I went to Antelope Park. 8) There is a rose garden established 1927 and recently the grounds were scraped with efforts to renovate the garden.

I used my white's classic ID and a carpenter's apron to place my finds in and it also holds my knife and trowel. :o

Didn't find much! :'( 4 post 64 pennies, set of keys, part of an al can, a copper emblem that has "childrens Zoo" stamped on it, and some misc. junk. There is a children's zoo adjacent to the garden. 8)

I found the clad in the mulched paths. 8)

My practice is to collect all trash, junk, dug and throw away properly. ::)

Thursday I'm driving to St. Louis and am staying in the Lafayette area, a rather old part of St. Louis. :o

I hope to have 2 hours before sunset! 8)

Wow Ric! That looks like a really good place to detect, especially around that construction site with all the topsoil already removed. Parks are nice, but the majority of them have been pounded to death over the decades. GOOD LUCK and thanks for sharing.
