Yah I really don't know what this piece is. I was suspecting a piece of roofing or something that we usually find around old cellar holes. I would not be interested other than there was a thought that it could be a sort of hand made trade token. Thanks for your thoughts, who knows maybe it will remain a mystery :o

The First Americans were very resourceful. They would use the metal from barrel hoops, wagon wheels and even copper pots that developed holes for fashioning arrowheads. You may have one, but as they were all home-made affairs it's awfully difficult to prove.

I have found many sickle bar blades thru the years in various sizes, but all seem to have the triangular shape. They don't seem to weather well after being broken from the mower arm. Just my guess. What ya' think?
