These were given to me and I was told that they were from the civil war?? Does anyone know what these are worth?

Perhaps the Spanish Civil War.

Items marked "MADE IN USA" date from after 1920. Your andirons are probably from the 1940s or 50s when the COLONIAL look was popular.

New or old only affects worth, not popularity. People love these things, they are very popular and are in high demand. I have seen old ones go for $250-$300 and newer ones for $75-$100. That's what my friend sold them for in her antique store. They are NICE and you are lucky to have them..
