What you are looking at is a quarter, brass, and the unknown metal in a bath of Baking soda and placed on a piece of Aluminum foil. All of those were found today. There are no bubbles coming off the quarter because it is not be reduced (ie. no exchange of electrons, not silver). There are no bubbles coming off the copper for the same reason. There are lots of bubbles coming off the unknown metal because the oxidation on it is exchanging electrons with "tarnish" causing it to release oxygen from the tarnish. This leaves behind a black soot that is easily rubbed off with soap and warm water.

No, both the rings are copper. I don't think the coins are silver. One dime and one quarter I can't get the date off but they don't behave like silver. One quarter is dated 1965, lol. Most of the nickels, pennies, and dimes are from the 70's (other then the obvious zinc pennies.)

Somebody ID'd it on What is it thread. It is solder. Based on my tests it has some silver in it. Solder Alloys: Physical and Mechanical Properties

Not melted beer can, I have found tons of those.
