Any chance this is a ramrod holder?

I found this in the woods near an old quarry road/path it was close to the area I find native trade goods including gun parts but unlike the other ramrod holders I’ve found this one is thinner and lacks the decorations I’ve found on other brass items

Great, I was afraid it was some sort of small hose clamp or wire guide, gun part is way better... now if I could figure out how to mark solved from the app
