Any chance this may be gold bearing quartz?

0918121304.webp found this rather large vein of milky white quartz with lots of reddish brown staining. any chance it may bear gold?
 

The reddish brown is most likely rust from iron in the rock.If the area is highly mineralized look around for any pegmatite.If you cant find any gold you might come across a gas pocket.If you find a gas pocket (made while the rock was forming)youll get yourself some crystals or gemstones.
 

Break some out from different spots on the vein,crush it up and pan it out.Is the vein in a known gold bearing area?

Ain't no magic to this stuff . If you can find some good possibles your gona have
to work it a bit to know for sure .
