Has anyone panned for gold in eastern Pa? Or any tips on where to go? Is it possible to find nuggets?
There is Fine Gold in all the Creeks & streams in Eastern Pa, South of the Blue Mountain.
and in the western Schuylkill area, that I'v heard of.
Gold was a Bi-Product of the Iron Mines in Lebanon County & there were 2 Mines in Western Berks County, that Produced Gold as a Bi-Product. untill the Flood of '72 I believe.
There are Several Gold Clubs in Pa, one I know for shure in Bloomsburg.

allentown does have a club, called lehigh valley th'er club, used to meet in hellertown at the vfw hall, check white , the coin dealer in hellentown he sells white's, he was the club pres. before, but i dont remember his name. hope this helps
