Any gold in maine?

Going to my summer house in maine this weekend and was wondering if there was any gold in the sebago area.

I would consider Purchasing Delos Toole's book
Where to Find Yankee Placer Gold
A good Synopsis on potential spots in all New England States with the exception of Rhode Island.

I have it and find it to be a good reference, along with BedRock Maps from the USGS and what you read on this Forum

thanks man talked to an oldtimer in maine that gave me a couple spots he used to hit for gold

right around porter maine area there are mines actually a silver mine but I have a book about western maine and just about any stream and brook in our area you will find some sort of gold!
