Hey guys! School is finally comming to an end. I am still studying vary hard and can't wait until June 16th when school's done. My summer lies among detecting and maybe working at my jobs here and there. Who knows if they will get enough hours as the economy keeps dwindling. I have 5 hours at one job and 8 hours at the other per week. So besides detecting during the summer, is there any Good American Civil War books out there that I should read? I've been looking into them and want one that deals with the Confederacy. I am also interested into reading about the Union troops as well. I plan on reading at least 1 or 2 books per week. Any suggestions would be appreciated! :) :icon_thumleft:

Historical fiction, good read.

One of the best, IMHO, is Civil War by Shelby Foote...It's a three volume set. He sets out the war from both sides...alot of facts that the average person isn't taught in schools...

"The Passing of the Armies" ISBN 978-0553299922
An account of the final campaign of the Army of the Potomac, based upon personal reminiscences of the Fifth Army Corp.
