Any good spots around Ann Arbor

Hey All,
I'm down in Ann Arbor for awhile due to medical reasons. I'm unfamiliar with the area and are wondering where any good public spots are to try and also what the general rules in the area are in relation to detecting? If I get some good info, maybe I'll go grab my detector if I go back up north this weekend. Thanks and HH!

Must be some good old parks over that way. There are always old private yards that are the best sites too!
