Any guess on age to these dolls

Both are about 5 inches big seem to have all handmade material and painted black shoes and faces. I think they are wooden only arms are movable

The one to the right is a story book doll USA if any collectors stumble across this and know what one it is please let me know it is a "frozen leg doll" so it's 1940s
