Any guesses on this?

This has a slight bow to it and the other side has a small ear (other ear missing) as if it sat on a hinge or something . Its 1 1\2 by 1 1\4 and 1\8 thick.? Non magnetic.

If it had some kind of cross or medallion in the middle I would guess it was a shower or commercial bathroom drain strainer. Hmmm...

It does look like an old buckle to me. Do you have a picture of the coins that were with it?

Those are quite neat. If you can get the lettering off of the first button (the intact one), I should be able to research it further.

London gold or something LD twist--The last word is opposite the rest and looks like the name W. WALLIS definately ALLIS.Thanks for your help.
